Inspired by her mom's breast cancer journey, Courtney created The C-Word as her graduate thesis to find a solution that will improve the mental health of black women living with breast cancer.
During her studies in obtaining her Master of Arts in Interactive Media; Courtney developed a deep understanding of the importance of user-centered design principles and the impact they can have on creating meaningful and enjoyable experiences for users. Courtney is committed to designing products that not only look visually appealing but provide meaningful and seamless interactions. What sets her apart is her unwavering dedication to her users. She believes that empathy and understanding are crucial elements in crafting successful designs.
